Is it the weekend yet?

Well that was a quick weight drop. Nothing like dropping 5 pounds in 1 day. Now to just continue to focus on my eating habits and i'll be back to 175 in no time. Didn't have the motivation to get up and work out today but i'll do it once I get home from work. I need to get back into the swing of P90x.

After cruise blues...

Weigh In - 183.4

So returned from the cruise yesterday. It was a week filled with relaxation. It was also filled with tons and tons of food. I gained 8 pounds while on the cruise but hope that it will drop off pretty quick once I get back to my normal eating habits. I definitely wasn't drinking enough water while on the cruise either. I tried my best to workout. I never took the elevator and probably climbed over a thousand steps throughout the trip. I also ran I think 5 out of the 8 days. Tried to run yesterday but for some reason my shins were so stiff and made even walking difficult. At least still did 4 miles. Tomorrow starts up P90X again.

It's been hard to get back into work. I initially had to go through 450 emails

Running With A Friend

So I know I've been kinda slacking on the keeping track of my calories and diet but I promise it hasn't been that bad. I wanted to talk today about running with a friend. So for the past few months when I ran I did it by myself. Yesterday I started running with a friend and we've done 6 miles (3 running...then .5 switch with walking/running). I have to say that the time flies by when you are running with someone else. The first 3 miles feel like half a mile and it's just so much more enjoyable.

Everyone go out and run / walk with a friend :-)
