Today was either Rest or Stretch day for P90X. I feel like my body could really use the stretch so doing it.

Just finished up the Stretch and it was excellent. Really felt good to stretch all the muscles. I also noticed already for some of the yoga poses I was able to do more than I could when doing the Yoga workout.

Lots of punching and kicking. I like to make the noises Mac from It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia makes when doing karate moves. :-) I noticed that with most of the exercises I want to quit around 20 minutes in and by 40 minutes in i'm ready to finish it out. It's nice to know I can make it the whole way.

Day 104 - 12 Weeks Down

Weigh In: 199.0 (-0.8 /-39.0)

Week 12 - 199.0 (-0.6) - Not a lot of weight loss this week. I was down almost to 198 before Friday when I started eating out more over the weekend. Also I think the p90X might be kicking in somewhat and causing some muscle gain. Anyway...back on the diet today and we'll see how things go. Still not bad to lose 39 pounds in 12 weeks.

This mornings P90X workout was Legs & Back. Again I don't think my legs are all that strong so had a hard time doing a lot of the lunges and squats but looking forward to the future and seeing how I do with each workout over time.

Ha gained a pound after dinner out last night. Also drank a lot of soda yesterday...oh well. Anyway my muscles are so sore today. I could barely put my arm up under my pillow while in bed last night.

I assembled my electric bike today. Thanks to Steve for getting the freewheel off yesterday. I still need to tweak the grip as my allen keys started to strip so I couldn't get everything off. I'll have to test it after I do my P90X today.

P90X - Shoulder & Arms / Ab Ripper - I enjoyed the Shoulder & Arms probably most of what i've done so far. I could barely do any of the exercises in the Ab Ripper today. My body does not want to move.

P90X - Plyometrics! I have to say i'm not very good with squats so this was really hard. I made it through the whole workout even if it took me a lot longer than it was supposed to. I think this is gonna be amazing for the rest of the time. It's hard but gonna be worth it.

Day 108

So I started P90X this morning. Had to get up at 6:30 AM which if you know me is almost an hour earlier than I normally wake up. This morning was Chest & Back. I have to say I didn't think I was going to do very good since I have very little upper body strength and it was really hard. The push-ups were the hardest even trying to do them easier. I know it's only the first day and I should get stronger over the next 12 weeks and can't wait. I felt pretty nauseous with 20 minutes left in the workout but made it through. Was also supposed to do the Ab Ripper part but I figured with not feeling good I should do that after work so more on that later.

Week 11 - 199.6 (-3.4) - With not really sticking to my diet over the past 3 days this week turned out to be quite a surprise in weight loss. Maybe the saying that you need to eat enough food to lose weight really is true.

Going under 200 for the first time made this the best Monday morning!

It needs a little bit of sprucing up in terms of color to better match but it turned out pretty good. Once the basement dries out I will begin the transition.

Woo...totally blew away all that weight. I really think it had to do with sodium intake...well at least the first 2 days. I just ate too much Thursday night. I really think I can get to 200 by the end of next week.

Was going to go to the Heart Walk with Steve & Amy this morning. I went to sleep around 10:45 but waking up at 7 I just totally didn't feel like it. So went back to bed till 9:30. :-)

No weight loss today...but not really a surprise considering how much i've lost of the past couple of days. Also had a pickle with dinner last night and realized how much sodium is in them. Will be interesting to see if I don't eat anything sodium laden today if i'll lose weight tomorrow. I might have to stop eating the pickles if so.
